Conditional Alerts (Multiple Alerts)

The Conditional Alerts feature in the Smart Signals Assistant (SSA) Alerts Extension Pack allows traders to set up alerts that only trigger when multiple SSA components align. This ensures that traders receive high-confidence signals while filtering out noise from individual indicators. Unlike traditional alerts that fire based on a single condition, Conditional Alerts require a combination of multiple triggers and state confirmations, giving traders full control over when and how alerts are activated.
Conditional Alerts let you combine multiple SSA component signals, such as: ✅ Trend Cipher – Detects strong bullish or bearish trends ✅ Trend Spine – Confirms trend direction ✅ Fair Value Trail – Identifies optimal trend shifts ✅ Trend Bias – Measures the strength of trend momentum ✅ Firmament Cloud – Detects price interactions with volatility zones
By selecting multiple conditions across these components, the alert will only trigger when all chosen conditions are met at the same time. This reduces false signals and increases the precision of alerts.
When setting up Conditional Alerts, it's important to understand the difference between Triggers and States:
Triggers define specific market events that must happen for an alert to be activated. For example: ✔️ Trend Cipher Strong Bullish Trend – Triggered when Trend Cipher detects a strong bullish trend. ✔️ Fair Value Trail Bullish Trend Shift – Triggered when Fair Value Trail confirms a bullish shift.
Triggers act like a "switch"—the alert only fires when the market condition suddenly changes.
States define the current market environment rather than an event. For example: ✔️ Trend Spine Bullish – Indicates that the market is currently in a bullish state. ✔️ Market is Trending – Confirms whether the market is trending or ranging.
Think of States as "ongoing conditions" that must be true at the time of the alert trigger. For an alert to fire, the Triggers must activate while the States are valid.
Follow these steps to create a Conditional Alert using SSA:
Add Smart Signals Assistant Alerts Extension Pack to your TradingView chart.
Open the Settings for the Alerts Extension Pack.
Navigate to the Conditional Alerts section.
Enable Condition 1 through Condition 7 based on the signals you want to include.
Each condition can monitor either a Trigger or a State.
Example setup: ✔️ Condition 1 → Trigger: Trend Cipher Strong Bullish Trend ✔️ Condition 2 → Trigger: Fair Value Trail Bullish Trend Shift ✔️ Condition 3 → State: Trend Spine Up (Bullish)
How to Configure Conditions:
Enable each condition you want to use (Condition 1, Condition 2, etc.).
Triggers and States are grouped separately, you can choose up to 7 of each.
Repeat for all conditions you want to include.
Open the Alerts menu in TradingView.
Click Create Alert.
In the Condition dropdown, select AlgoAlpha - 🚨 Smart Signals Alerts.
Choose Conditional Alert from the list (only visible if you enabled multiple conditions).
Configure Alert Actions (popup, SMS, webhook, etc.).
Click Create to activate the alert.
Once settings are set, a grey line should plot all historical instances of the conditions being met, each spike means the alert would have triggered, use this to check if everything has been set up in accordance to what you want.
Imagine you want an alert to trigger only when the market is in a strong bullish setup. The alert should fire when:
1️⃣ Trend Cipher signals a Strong Bullish Trend (Trigger). 2️⃣ Trend Spine confirms a Bullish State (State). 3️⃣ Fair Value Trail shifts to a Bullish Trend (Trigger).
How to Set Up:
✔️ Enable Condition 1, Condition 2, and Condition 3 in the Alerts Extension Pack settings. ✔️ For Condition 1, select Trend Cipher Strong Bullish Trend (Trigger). ✔️ For Condition 2, select Trend Spine Bullish (State). ✔️ For Condition 3, select Fair Value Trail Bullish Trend Shift (Trigger). ✔️ In TradingView, create an alert with AlgoAlpha - 🚨 Smart Signals Alerts and select Conditional Alert. ✔️ Set your alert actions and click Create.
🚀 This alert will only trigger when all three conditions are met simultaneously, reducing false signals and ensuring high-confidence entries.
Avoid Conflicting Signals
Ensure indicators align to prevent receiving mixed signals.
Example: Do not set an alert where Trigger_1: Trend Cipher Bullish Shift
and Trigger_2: Trend Cipher Bearish Shift
.
Use Multi-Indicator Confirmation
Combine multiple indicators for greater confidence in trends.
Example: Pair a strong trend signal with a supporting oscillator for validation.
Avoid Conditions That Trigger for Multiple Bars in a Row
Enable triggers to prevent alerts from going off for multiple bars
State only alerts may return true for multiple bars in a row.
These approaches will help you maintain a streamlined and effective alert system by reducing signal clutter and
